Machined Component

A Machined component is a component that has been machined by a mechanical device, that uses fabricate metal components of machines by machining them, which will selective remove the metal. A component is machined by a power source other than the human movement, but is normally powered by an operator that sets the machining process up and over sees that the process in being carried out correctly. The earliest type of machining is the lathe, which had direct mechanical control of the cutting tool with a screw like lathe. Different types of machining can be carried out on a component and they often have many process completed before a part has been made from start to finish, Machining is one of the most important material removal methods, and is a collection of material working process in which a power driven machine tools. Machines includes lathes, milling machines and drill presses, they all used sharp cutting tools that mechanically cut the material to achieve the desired geometry. Machining is require on all most all if not every metal product and is common on of materials such as wood and plastic.
